WELCOME TO TEMPLE BETH ISRAEL

Temple Beth Israel is a warm, dynamic Reform Synagogue of over 400 families that serves the Pomona and San Gabriel Valleys of Southern California, approx. 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. At TBI you will find a community that celebrates Jewish tradition,  kindles spiritual fulfillment, values Jewish study in all its variety, and vigorously participates in social justice.
Please join us!  Jews in all their diversity, including families, singles, couples, interfaith families, the LGBTQ2+ community, people with disabilities, and the rainbow of racial identities and ethnicities – are all welcome at TBI.

Note: Interactive participation online is password protected, but nearly all public events are viewable on Facebook and YouTube.
Please consider leaving a comment or greeting. Contact the TBI Office for access assistance.

Our former TBI Preschool is now known as the Tree of Life Children’s Center. Our students are playing, learning, and thriving just as they have for over 30 years as we observe the proper guidelines and procedures. Find out how your child can join them by contacting our director, Robin McConnell.  Info here. Click here to read the Claremont Courier feature about TLCC.
The Judaica Shop at Temple Beth Israel is Open!
Located in the Temple lobby, you can browse and shop for menorahs, colorful Chanukah plates, tallitot, Passover items, jewelry, Challah trays, and other beautiful items from Israel and throughout the Jewish world. We also have a supply of the Women’s Torah Commentary, a thoughtful gift for any woman, with insightful and relevant perspectives for all. Regular “Browse and Shop” hours are Wednesdays from 2PM – 4PM. The Shop is also generally open prior to Friday evening Shabbat services. Please call or email the Temple office (909-626-1277) for more information on how to make an appointment to visit during open hours, or to confirm pre-Shabbat and other open time options.

Buy Scrip
Did you know that you can support TBI through our Scrip program?  Scrip is available for hundreds of merchants, for things you buy everyday, and it costs you $0 to participate. It’s particularly useful in times such as these when we are doing a lot of shopping remotely. We can also  arrange for your scrip to be delivered to you! And, it’s great for gift giving too!  Download the form here.  You can also pay for your Scrip online here where you can also make other financial contributions to support our community.
